Michael Johnson drives the #69 Hobbie Class car.  Michael lives in Abbeville, SC.  His home track is Laurens County Speedway. 

He started racing in 2002 at Laurens Speedway. Michael says he's always enjoyed racing, and he's always been thrilled by speed.

The thrill of racing for Michael is the speed and adrenalin rush.  His most exhilarating moment was running 2nd place in the 4th race of the season,  finally getting the car set up perfect - seeing what leading the field was like! He's most proud of almost winning 1st race of his career in the 4th race of the season this year.

Michael says, " Racing is a great sport. Good family entertainment and it's very exciting to watch!".
