Shun Thomas drives the #9 Rookie 4 Class car.  Shun is from Hodges, SC. His home track is Laurens County Speedway.

Shun began racing in 2000 in the Rookie 4 Class.  He says he started racing because it was something to do.

Shun says the thrill of racing for him is " the fun and racing with other people".  His most exhilarating moment was when he finished second place.  Shun is most proud of his first Heat race.

He would like to tell people: "Try if you don't like it".
