Shanon Ervin drives the#10 Super Stock 4 Class car.  His home track is Mileback Speedway but he can also be found racing at Sugar Creek and Riverside Speedway.  He lives in Liberty, SC.

Team members helping Shanon are:  Bill Ervin, Lonnie Ervin, Linda Ervin (wife), Lonnie Ervin Jr., Brent Ervin.

He started racing in 1993 in the Mod 4 Class at Riverside Speedway and Cherokee Super Speedway after working on other people's cars, he decided to give it a try.  His first win was in 2003 in the Modified 4 Class at Harris Speedway.  Career highlights include 1 win in 2005, finished 5th in the Points at Harris Speedway, 5th in Points 3 or 4 times in 12 years.  He's finished every race except 2 or 3 in 12 years and he's built the entire car himself.

The thrill of racing for Shanon is that it is family fun time.  His most exciting racing moment was at Thunder Valley when he started in the 32nd position and finished 3rd, passing about 18-22 cars.  He's most proud that he's always finishing and treating others with respect.  He can honestly say he's never wrecked anyone on purpose.  They're just out there for fun.  He'd rather keep his friends.

Shanon's racing hero is Jr. Tucker (Laurens Speedway driver of the decade '80's - '90's).

Of racing, Shanon says, "Don't fight, just race and have fun.  Also, be a good example for upcoming drivers!".
