Troy "The Sandman" Bagwell drives the #12 Hobby Stock Class car.  His home track is Laurens County Speedway but he can also be found racing at Mileback Speedway.  He lives in Clinton, SC.

Team members helping Troy are:  Brandon Bagwell, Carl Watkins, Durrick Lollis.  Troy and Sharon Bagwell are the car owners.

Troy started racing in 1993 in the Hobby Stock Class at Laurens County Speedway because he's been hooked on it all his life.  His first win was in 2004 in the Hobby Stock Class at Laurens County Speedway.  Career highlights include 4 wins in 2004 and finishing 3rd in the Points and 5 wins so far in 2005 and winning Demolition Derbies.

The thrill of racing for Troy is having fans come by and talking to him and winning races.  His most exciting racing moment was in 2004 when he flipped his car for the first time and in 2001 winning the Demolition Derby with his son coming in 3rd.

Troy's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Of racing, Troy says, "To remember that the real race is the race of your life and if you keep Jesus in your heart you will always be a winner.  Heb.12:1!".
