Joey West drives the #2 Limited Sportsman, Hobby and Stock 8 Class cars.  His home track is Mileback Speedway and Windyhill Speedway but he can also be found racing at Riverside Speedway and Buffalo Speedway.  He lives in Greenville, SC.

Team members helping Joey are:  Big Hal, Leroy Ramey, Jeff Catoe, Nicole West, David & Meg Thrasher.  David Thrasher and Joey West are the car owners.

Joey started racing in 1981 in the Rookie Class at Fountain Inn because they were a Father-Son team.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include the first race he won with his Dad.

The thrill of racing for Joey is wide open and working on the cars.  His most exciting racing moment was when he raced against his brother.  He's most proud of racing a Ford against all the Chevy's.

Joey's racing hero is David Pearson.

Of racing, Joey says, "A lot of money but a lot of fun!".
