Dennis started racing in 1971 in the
Limited Late Model Class at Woodruff Speedway because he was interested
in it. His first win was in 1972 in the Limited Late Model Class
at Woodruff Speedway. Career highlights include Track
Championships at Woodruff Speedway in 1972, '73, '74 in Limited Late
Model, Cherokee Super Speedway 1977, '78, '85, '86 in Super Late Model,
Tri-City Speedway in 1982 in Super Late Model, I-85 Speedway in
1985, '89 in Super Late Model, and Riverside Speedway in 1989, '90 in
Super Late Model plus over 200 wins.
The thrill of racing for Dennis is the
thrill of victory. His most exciting racing moment was winning
Track Champion at Cherokee Super Speedway in 1986. He's most proud
of being able to race as long as he has and win races and Championships.
