Jim Onos  drives the #00 Super Stock 4 Class car.  His home track is Gordon Park Speedway but he can also be found racing at Modoc Speedway and I-20 Speedway.  He lives in Lexington, SC.

Jim started racing in 1972 in the Claimer Division at Corona Speedway in Corona, CA because, why else, it's the most fun in the world!  His first win was in 2005 in the Stock 4 Class at Modoc Speedway.  Career highlights include his first win at Modoc, getting very airborne at Gordon Park Speedway (Silver Eagle Speedway at that time) in 2002, getting on the cover of Circle Track Magazine in November of '05.

The thrill of racing for Jim is just having a flat out blast.  You can go as fast as you want without worrying about getting a ticket.  Jim's most exhilarating racing moment was getting airborne at Silver Eagle Speedway (The New Gordon Park Speedway), Augusta GA, landing well, starting dead last after and passing 13 cars in the last 10 laps to finish 7th.  He's most proud of just getting out on the track and being competitive and having fun.

Jim's racing heroes are Buzzie Reiterman,  Kenny Schrader, Sam Ard, Michael and Darrell Waltrip, Freddy Smith, Ed Bassey, just to name a few.
