Kelly Guy
#28
Kelly Guy drives the #28 Super Late Model
Class car. He lives in Thomson, GA. His home track is Modoc
Speedway but he can also be found racing at Hartwell, Lavonia, Toccoa,
I-20, Swainsboro and Cochran.
Kelly began racing in 1991 in the Hobby
Class at Modoc Speedway because of his need for speed. His first win soon followed the same year at Gordon Park.
Career highlights include: 3 wins-2003-
Modoc Speedway; 1 win-2003- I-20 Speedway, and 1995 Track Champion at I-20.
2003 brought Kelly the Modoc track
chanpionship, 14 wins , 25 top 5's, and a Summer Shootout Win.
The thrill of racing for Kelly is the when
the flag starts with lots of horsepower. For Kelly the most exhilarating moment
during a race was racing door to door with legend Buck Simmons at Lavonia
Speedway and finishing in the winner's circle. He's most proud of
being able to drive a Super Late Model car.
Of racing, Kelly says, "It's something
wonderful for the entire family to enjoy. My wife and my 6 year old
daughter, Kylie, attend every race and look forward to those "winning
photos"!".
