Chuck Compton drives the #55 Hobby/Late Model Class car.  He lives in N Augusta, SC.  His home track is I-20 but he can also be found racing t Modoc Speedway.

Chuck began racing in 1979 in the Street Stock Class at Gordon Park following in his father's footsteps and for his love of cars.  He won his first race soon after in 1979.  Career highlights for Chuck include: 8 Hobby points Championships and 1 Track Championship (I-20 Speedway).

The thrill of racing for Chuck is the speed and the competition.  He is most proud of his Points Championships and watching his daughter race.

His racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Of racing, Chuck says, "It's expensive but worth it!".
