Richard Owens drives the #9 V-8 Class car.  He lives in North Augusta, SC.  His home track is Modoc Speedway and anywhere else where there is big money!

Richard's #9 car is the blue and yellow Chevy, DWR Racing Chassis.

He started racing in 2003 in the V-8 Class at Modoc. He had been the Crew Chief on David Lowe & Lowe Racing for a year in order to drive.  His first win was in 2003 in the V-8 Class at Augusta Speedway.  Career highlights have been in helping David Lowe win all their races.

The thrill of racing for Richard is speed!  His most exhilarating racing moment was winning his first Feature at Modoc Speedway.  He's most proud of doing this his first year.

David Lowe and Andy Stewart are Richard's racing heroes.
