Travis Leake

Travis Leake drives the #44 Modified-Lite Class car.  He lives in Woodruff, SC.  His home track is Riverside Speedway but he can also be found racing at Laurens County Speedway.

Travis began racing in 1993 in the Go-Kart Class at Piney Grove Speedway, fulfilling a childhood dream. His first win was in 1993 at Piney Grove. in the Purple Plate Class.  His career highlights include: Track Champion at Cross Anchor Speedway in 1994 and 1995, and runner up at Piney Grove Speedway in 1994.

For Travis the thrill of racing is the speed. He is most proud of his first year of racing in which he was leading in points.

Travis's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Of racing, Travis says, "It's very fun and exciting to run and watch!".
