Michael McTier

Michael McTier drives the #K2 Super Street Class car.  He lives in Dearing, GA.  His home track is Modoc Speedway but he can also be found racing at I-20 Speedway.

Michael began racing in 2002 at Augusta in the Stock V8 class. His first win came in 2003 in the Super Street Stock class in Augusta.  His career highlights include: 2 wins in 2003 at Modoc.

He says the thrill of racing for him is competing with something you've built. His most exhilarating racing moment was his 2nd win at Modoc after a grueling race of leap frog with another competitor.

Harry Grant and Mark Martin are Michael's racing heroes.

Of racing, Michael says, "Don't do it if you don't have the time and the money to do it.  It isn't a part time hobby!".
