Clay Thomas drives the #16 Super Truck Class truck. He lives in Ellerbe, N.C. His home track is Myrtle Beach Speedway. 

He raced motorcycles for 16 years then cars at age of 31. He is 48 now. (2004) His first win was 17 years ago in  Super Stock Class at Florence, S.C. Career highlights include, two 3rd Place in Points with Trucks at Myrtle Beach Speedway, won race in Nov. 2000 at Beach.

The thrills of racing for Clay  are the people. His most exciting racing moment  was  the big race win at the Beach in Nov., 2000. He is most proud of his clean driving.

His crew are  his racing heroes.

Of racing, Clay says, "it makes life fun!".
