Steve "Boo" Hickman

Steve Hickman drives the #23 Charger Class car. He lives in Loris, S.C. His home track is Myrtle Beach Speedway but he can also be found racing at Florence and I-95 Speedways.

He began racing in 1977 in Late Model Class  in Dillon, S.C. because his dad raced. It was Steve's childhood dream. His first win was in 1982 in Late Model at Lake View. Career highlights include, winning Late Model Race at several different tracks against some of the Greats of Racing.

The thrills of racing for Steve are running good and having fun. His most exciting racing moment was winning at Myrtle Beach Speedway. He is most proud of that win.

Steve's racing heroes are Curtis Turner and Bobby Allison.
