Ernest is from Hollywood, SC.  Myrtle Beach is his home track.  He began racing in 1999 at the Summerville Speedway in the 4 Cycle Stocks.

Ernest has been racing since he was 8-years-old.  His first win came in 1999 in the 4 Cycle Stocks at Summerville Speedway.  

Ernest's career highlights include "Rookie of the Year" at Myrtle Beach in 2002 in Late Model Stocks as well as 6 Top Five finishes in 2001.

The thrill of racing for Ernest is racing at high speeds, close to other cars, and he feels like no one can touch him.

Ernest's greatest racing thrill came when he won three races in one night in three classes at the Horseshoe Kartway in Moncks Corner, SC.

His greatest moment was being named "Rookie of the Year" at Myrtle Beach in 2002.

His racing hero is Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
