Sam Yarbrough drives the #87 Late Model Stock Class car. He lives in Shallotte, N.C. His home track is Myrtle Beach Speedway.

He began racing in 1997 in Go Karts all of the state because he had a big interest in racing and had always wanted to do it. His first win was in 1998 in Go Karts at Shallotte Point Speedway. Career highlights include, numerous wins in Go Karts. Consistently competitive in the Allison Legacy Series (1 Win), good starts in Late Models, numerous 2nd and 3rd Places.

The thrill of racing for Sam is beating other competitors. His most exciting racing moment was when he won the Allison Legacy Series. He is most proud of competing consistently well week in and week out.

His racing hero is Rusty Wallace.

Of racing, Sam says, "Go out and experience it if possible".
