John Weston

John Weston drives the #007 Renegade V-8 Class car.  He lives in Hendersonville, NC.  His home track is Riverside Speedway.

John's #007 car is the red and yellow Chevy.

He started racing in 1976 in the Cadet Class at Riverside Speedway because after wrecking his motor cross, his sponsor sold his bike and bought him a stock car at the age of 14.  His first win was in 1981 in the Cadet Class at Gaffney.  John likes Crash and Burn Demo Derby.  

The thrill of racing for John is the speed and the mud!  I love the car out of control.  His most exhilarating racing moment was flipping at Gaffney.  He's most proud of his cars.

Dale Earnhardt is John's racing hero.

Of racing, John says, "If you like to drive, get in a  dirt car!".
