James Plemmons drives the #27 Crate Late Model Class car.  His home track is Riverside Speedway but he can also be found racing at Cherokee Super Speedway.  He lives in Wellford, SC.  Trish Hagen has helped him with his car.

He started racing in 1988 in the Limited Go-Karts Class at Buck Creek because it looked like fun and exciting. 

The thrill of racing for James is to be competitive with his equipment. 

James's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Of racing, James says, "Support it or the people supporting other causes may take your rights away!".
