Talmadge King drives the #P1 Rookie 4 Class car.  He lives in Easley, SC.  His home track is Riverside Speedway but he can also be found racing at Cherokee Speedway.

Talmadge's #P1 car is the purple and green Toyota Corolla.

He started racing in 1988 in the Rookie 4 Class at Riverside Speedway because his father got him into it.  His first win was in 1988 in the 4 Cyl Class at Riverside.  Career highlights include Track Championship at Riverside in 1990, 1993 and 1999, I-85 Speedway in 1990, and West Minister Speedway in 1995.

The thrill of racing for Talmadge is winning!  His most exhilarating racing moment was winning his first race.  He's most proud of helping others get into racing.

Dale Earnhardt is Talmadge's racing hero.

Of racing, Talmadge says, "Go like hell, turn left!".
