Curtis is from Waterboro SC. Summerville Speedway is his home track.  He started racing in 1994 in the T & L cars at Summerville. He had loved to watch and just decided to do it.  He got his first win his rookie year, at Summerville.

Curtis has won 3 championships 96, 97, 98, and 0ver 60 races.

The Competition is the thrill of racing for Curtis.  The first championship was his greatest racing thrill.  His greatest racing moment was winning in a photo finish.
