Michael races out of Ridgeville SC.  Summerville Speedway is his home track. he also races at Timmonsville, Hardeeville, and Myrtle Beach. he began racing in a charger at Summerville in 1989.  His Dad  (Don Driggers ) had ran dirt while he was growing up. He got his first win in 1996 in a T & L at Summersville.

Speed and the "BIG" dream of some day running Winston Cup is the thrill of racing for Michael.  His greatest racing thrill was winning the 1st time.

His greatest racing moment was when the car went "over the wall and in the fence, when the car stopped, was the moment. "

His racing hero's are his dad, Don, and Ronald, and his brother Eddie Diggers.
