 Chas is from Moncks Corner SC. Summerville Speedway is his home track. Chas began racing in 1995 in a 4 cyl stock at Summerville. He moved up from go cart racing. He got his first win his rookie year at Summerville.

Chas was the Late Model Champion in 2000, he has averaged 6 wins per year excluding 2001 when he took off.

The thrill of racing for Chas is "being the best each week,  we come to WIN!"

His greatest racing thrill was winning the track championship in 2000.  His greatest racing moment was winning a late model race coming out of turn 4 and winning by inches.

Dale Earnhardt is his racing hero.
