Jody races out of  Ladson SC. Summerville speedway is his home track.  Jody began racing at Flemmington speedway in a modified in the year of 1979.  In 1987 e won his first race in a Cruizer bruizer at Summerville Speedway. 

Jody started racing for the fun of it. The thrill is just racing. Winning is his greatest racing thrill.

Jody's greatest racing moment was when Ernie Irvan returned

Dale Earnhardt Sr. is his favorite driver.
