Scott Welch

Scott Welch drives the #01 Mini Stock Class car.  He lives in Turbeville, SC.  His home track is Sumter Speedway. 

Scott's #01 car is the orange Nissan.

He started racing in 2002 in the Pure Street Stock Class at Sumter Speedway for the competition.  His first win was in 2002 in the Pure Street Stock Class at Sumter Speedway.  Scott's career highlight was winning the 2002 Pure Street Track Championship.

The thrill of racing for Scott is beating opponents.  He's most proud of his Championship! 

Jeff Gordon is Scott's racing hero.
