JAMES ROBERT YOST

James Robert Yost drives the #03 Pure Stock Class car.  He lives in Sumter, SC.  James's Home Track is Sumter Speedway.

James drives the white with red lettering '84 Monte Carlo with 350 engine.

He started racing in 2000 in the Pure-Stock Class at Sumter Speedway because he had always wanted to and to have fun.   His first win was in 2000 in the Pure Stock Class.  In 2001 James was 3rd in the Points, finished most races in the top five and had a baby boy!

The thrill of racing for James is the performance of the car and the speed on the track.  His greatest racing thrill was watching his daughter bring home a trophy from bike races and passing out in his arms from excitement.  James's greatest racing moment was winning 3rd in the Points last year.
