Model Class at Florence Motor Speedway and Darlington Speedway after
racing Go-Karts. His first win was in 1982 in the Late Model Class
at Hartsville-Darlington Speedway. Career highlights include 2001
Carolina Clash Championship, JW Hunt 200 at Concord Speedway $20,000 win,
Big 10 Championship at Concord, Hav-A-Tampa $10,000 win at Sumter
Speedway, Gold Cup 100 Ocala Speedway $10,000 and Hav-A-Tampa win at
Carolina Speedway.
The thrill of racing for Ed is the
competition and speed! His most exciting racing moment was the
$10,000 Hav-A-Tampa win at Sumter Speedway. He's most proud of
having been able to race as long as he has and stay competitive.
Ed's racing hero is his Dad.
