Karen Cooper drives the #1 Pure-Stock Class car.  She lives in Sumter, SC.  Her Home Track is Sumter Speedway.

Karen drives the blue and pink Chevy Camaro.

She started racing in 1988 in the Carolina's Girls Class at Sumter Speedway because she had raced Powder Puff with her husband's car.  Her first win was in 1988.

Karen was two times Track Champion in Carolina's Girls with over 20 wins in that division.  The thrill of racing for Karen is "the rush"!  Her greatest thrill was her first win!

Ronnie Cooper and Chris Dunlap have helped her with her racing career.

Karen's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
