Neil "Possum" McKenzie drives the #1 Mini Stock Class car.  He lives in Sumter, SC.  His home track is Sumter Speedway but he could also be found racing at Timmonsville, when it was dirt.

Neil's #1 car is the red and silver Ford Mustang.

He started racing in 1985 in the Fun Class at Timmonsville, SC for the fun and excitement, thrills and chills!  His first win was in 1987 in the Fun Class at Timmonsville.  His over 60 wins include 1992 Fun Class Champion, 1994 Half-Point Champion, Hard Charger Award in 1994, Track Champion in Mini Stock in 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2002!!

The thrill of racing for Neil is the competition.  His most exhilarating racing moment was his first win at Timmonsville in the Fun Class.  He's most proud of his Feature wins and his Championships.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. is Neil's racing hero.
