John McKenzie drives the #21 Pure Street Stock Class car.  He lives in Sumter, SC.  His home track is Sumter Speedway.

He started racing in 2000 in the Mini Stock Class at Sumter Speedway because his father raced and John loved the sport.  His first win was in 2001 in the Mini Stock Class at Sumter Speedway. 

The thrill of racing for John is the rush.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win.  He's most proud of making the race every Saturday night. 

John's racing hero is his father, Neil-Possum McKenzie.

Of racing, John says, "It's a good hobby, I enjoy it, it's fun!".
