John Cornell Jr. drives the #22 Pure Stock Class car.  He also drives the #44 Thunder & Lightning class car.  His home track is Florence Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing at Sumter Speedway.  He lives in Holly Hill, SC.

Team members helping John are:  Wesley Cornell, Eric Green, Amanda Cornell, John Cornell Sr., Brittany & Kimberly - kids, and family.  John Cornell Sr. is the car owner.

John started racing in 2000 in the 4 Cyl Stock Class car at Summerville Speedway because he'd been around it all of his life.  Career highlights include 2003 Summerville Speedway top 5 in the Championship Points.

The thrill of racing for John is the challenge and the different types and style tracks he races on.  His most exciting racing moment was his 3 place finish at Summerville Speedway in 2004 in 4 Cyl Stock Class and the welding and fabrication of their own cars.  He's most proud of his top 3 finish in Points in 2003 at Summerville Speedway. 

John's racing hero is his Father, John Cornell Sr.
