Ronnie Johnson drives the #27 Late Model Class car.  He lives in Lynchburg, SC.  His home track is Sumter Speedway.

Ronnie's #27 car is the orange and white Ford Mustang, 351 Cleveland.

He started racing in 1986 in the Pure Stock Class at Sumter because he loves cars and the competition.  His first win was in '86 in the Pure Stock class.  He's won 3 Track Championships (1 in Pure Stock 2 in Thunder & Lightning), 3rd in Points in Super Stock and 3rd in Points in Late Models in 2001.

The thrill of racing for Ronnie is competing with other drivers.  He loves working on the car almost as much as driving it.  He's most proud of meeting a lot of friends.  He's had money from the sport but a lot of help too.

Dale Earnhardt Sr. is Ronnie's racing hero.
