Robbie Disher drives the #41 Thunder & Lightning car.  He lives in Manning, SC.  His home track is Sumter Speedway but Robbie can also be found racing at I-20 and Modoc Speedway.  People who help Robbie are:  Tim Raack, Stacy Avins, and Brooks Disher.

He started racing in 1986 in the Pure Stock Class at Sumter because his Dad raced ever since Robbie can remember.  He just loves racing.  His first win was in 1986 in the Pure Stock Class.  Career highlights include one race in 1989 where he got into an accident after just 2 laps in a 50 lap race...he went on to win the race.  In 1999 he had to pull out and change the engine but went on to win the race.

The thrill of racing for Robbie is that he likes to go fast!  He's most proud of his wins.  He's proud to have been so successful.

Dale Earnhardt is Robbie's racing hero.

Of racing, Robbie says, "I just love racing.....eat it, live it, sleep it.  My whole life revolves around racing!".
