Kevin Godwin drives the #56 Pure Stock Class car.  He lives in Blythewood, SC.  His home track is Chester but he can also be found racing at Lancaster and Sumter Speedway.

He started racing in 2002 in the Pure Stock/Late Model Class at Sumter Speedway because he did a good job in the Late Model in practice so one of his Dad's friends (Wes McRoy) offered him a ride in Pure Stock.

The thrill of racing for Kevin is passing people.  His most exciting racing moment was when he got in his first Late Model crash at Lancaster.  He's most proud of his first start.

Kevin's racing hero is Mark Martin, and Jon Godwin.
