Marty Watts drives the #99 Late Model
Class car. He lives in West Cola, SC. His home track is Sumter
Speedway but he can also be found racing at I-20 Speedway.
Marty's #99 car is the black, red, white
and blue Grand Prix Rocket Chevy.
He started racing in 1996 in the Pro Stock
Class at Columbia Speedway because a friend owned a car. Marty saw
him win races, so he bought the car. His first win was in 1997 in
the Pro Stock Class at Columbia. He was the 2001 Late Model Class
The thrill of racing for Marty was the
Championship Year. His most exhilarating racing moment was the win
at Screven Speedway in the Super Late Model Class. He's most proud
of being able to learn fast about the car set up.
Dale Earnhardt is Marty's racing hero.
Of racing, Marty says, "If you can afford
it, it's a lot of fun!".
