 Marty Watts

Marty Watts drives the #99 Late Model Class car.  He lives in West Cola, SC.  His home track is Sumter Speedway but he can also be found racing at I-20 Speedway.

Marty's #99 car is the black, red, white and blue Grand Prix Rocket Chevy.

He started racing in 1996 in the Pro Stock Class at Columbia Speedway because a friend owned a car.  Marty saw him win races, so he bought the car.  His first win was in 1997 in the Pro Stock Class at Columbia.  He was the 2001 Late Model Class Track Champion.

The thrill of racing for Marty was the Championship Year.  His most exhilarating racing moment was the win at Screven Speedway in the Super Late Model Class.  He's most proud of being able to learn fast about the car set up.

Dale Earnhardt is Marty's racing hero.

Of racing, Marty says, "If you can afford it, it's a lot of fun!".
