MIKE MOULTRIE

Mike Moultrie drives the #7 Mini-Stock Class car.  He  lives in Sumter, SC.  Mike's Home Track is Sumter Speedway but he can also be found racing at I-20 Speedway and Florence Motor Speedway.

Mike drives the black, red and yellow Ford Mustang.

He started racing in 1999 in the Mini-Stock Class at Sumter Speedway because he's always drag raced and it was something different and looked fun to do.    His first win was in 2002, the night he completed the form for this web page!  

The thrill of racing for Mike is "like any other driver, it is winning!"  His greatest thrill was his first race where he overcame a lot of obstacles to get to test his skills...and finding out it wasn't as easy as it looked.  His greatest racing moment was getting sent to the back and winning the race proving to himself, his family and friends that he can win!

James Yost, Ben Bellamy, Ricky Montalbono, Robert Wilson, Ruth Brotherton, Chris Shelton and Suzie have helped in his racing program.

Mike's racing heroes are himself and Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Mike says "I love Ruth! It doesn't matter whether you win by an inch or a mile, a win is a win!"!
