Crew And Help

Kevin Prescott drives the #44 Pro-Stock Class car.  He  in Sumter, SC.  Kevin's Home Track is Sumter Speedway.

Kevin drives the red and black car that was built, owned and operated by Bryan & Kevin Prescott!

He started racing in 2001 in the Pro-Stock Class at Sumter Speedway.  Kevin has raced since he was little, and his dad and his uncle raced the same track in the 70's.

Kevin's 2001 highlights include winning his first Heat Race and being competitive and being the youngest driver in the class.

The thrill of racing for Kevin is the Pace Lap, all the motors revving up, smelling the fuel burning, knowing you're about to race, hard core for 20 laps.  His greatest racing thrill was when Roger Horne went airborne on the front shoot slamming down on the roof of Kevin's car.

His greatest racing moment is when he led 15 laps of the first race of 2002 without having set the car up and 1 year old tires on the car.

Erik Mathis (Crew Chief), Bryan Prescott (car owner and builder), Todd Coursey (machinist) and Crystal Huggins (support) have helped Kevin in his racing program.

Kevin's racing hero is his dad, Bryan Prescott.
