Matthew Poteet drives the #57 Pure Street Stock Class car.  His home track is Travelers Rest Speedway.  He lives in Travelers Rest, SC.

Team members helping Matt are:  Joe, Diane, Josh, Joey, Candace, Carl, Jason, Tony.  Joe and Diane Wilhoit are the car owners.

Matt started racing in 2007 in the Pure Stock Class at Travelers Rest Speedway because he loved the dirt since his friends Newman Pressnell and Biddie Pressnell brought him to the races, as a kid.

The thrill of racing for Matt is going fast.  His most exciting racing moment was when he finished 4th at Travelers Rest Speedway. 

Matt's racing heroes are Newman Pressnell #48 and Timmy Smith #6.

Of racing, Matt says, "A lot of money getting spent but a lot of fun!".
