Jerry Vaughn drives the #66 Pure Stock Class car.  His home track is Travelers Rest Speedway.  He lives in Travelers Rest, SC.

Team members helping Jerry are:  John Weston, Casey Crews, Fuzzie Nut.  Lani Elliot and Jerry Vaughn are the car owners.

Jerry started racing in 2002 in the Renegade Class at Riverside Speedway because he has always been into racin and cars.  He comes from a line of racers from his Great Grandparents all the way to his Mom and Dad.  He has a cousin who builds cars for a NASCAR team.  Jerry has always dreamed of having his own racecar team.  Career highlights include his best finish in '03 in the Heat Race at Riverside Speedway where he finished 3rd in the Renegade Class.  He finished 5th in the Main at at Riverside in '05 but unfortunately there were only 7 racing!  He ran 3rd in the Points most of '05 until the unfortunate crash that put him out for the remainder of the season.

The thrill of racing for Jerry is to go out and have fun and enjoy living for a while.  His most exciting racing moment was hitting the wall wide open and being able to walk away.  He's most proud of staying in the Top 10 in Points in spite of missing 9 races in '05. 

Jerry's racing heroine is his Mom, who raced and finished well.

Of racing, Jerry says, "I simply love it!  Life's to short to sit in the pits and wait.  Get out there and run your race cuz the next lap might be your last!".
