Brent McCormick

Brent McCormick drives the #82 Street Stock Class car.  He lives in Inez, KY.  His home track is 201 Speedway but he can also be found racing at Modoc Speedway and Thunder Ridge Raceway.

He started racing in 1994 in the Road Hog Class at Thunder Ridge Raceway in Prestonsburg, KY for the competition, speed and the love of racing.  His first win was in 1996 in the Street Stock Class at Thunder Ridge Raceway.  Brent has consistent top 5's in the Points and Features for the past 4 years.  He was a winner in a Heat race in 2002 in the Street Stock World Championship at Zanesville, Ohio.

The thrill of racing for Brent is the adrenaline rush when the car is working right and he's up front!  His most exciting racing moment was winning a Heat at the 2003 Street Stock World Championship.  It was a great moment to do well running with the class of people that were there. He's most proud of having the reputation of being a good but clean driver.

Texas Terry Labonte is Brent's racing hero.

Of racing, Brent says, "NASCAR is a great class but if people would go to their local tracks they would be surprised at the action and competition.  There is also the chance to meet the drivers and crew!".
