Edwin Wells drives the #99W Street Stock Class car.  He lives in Morrilton, AR.  His home track is Batesville Speedway but he can also be found racing at several large Dirt Track races.

He started racing in 1994 in the Street Stock Class at Plumerville Speedway at Plumerville, AR. and Beebe Speedway at Beebe, AR. because an employee was racing and it just looked like he was having "too much fun"! His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include:  1995 Pure Stock Class Championship at Plumerville Speedway and Beebe Speedway, 1999 winner at Enid's $10,000 Street Stock Championship, 2003 winner of Muskogee $10,000 Factory Stock Classic race.

The thrill of racing for Edwin is building a car and making it work on different tracks and seeing other drivers do well in his cars.  His most exciting racing moment was the 1999 Enid win with his other car coming in 2nd!  He's most proud of building good quality cars that other drivers win in also.

Bill Frye and Johnny Virden are Edwin's racing heroes.

Of racing, Edwin says, "It's more fun and more trouble than any one person should be allowed to have!".
