Street Stock Class car. He lives in Reno, OH. His home tracks
are Cannonball Raceway at St.Clairsville, Ohio, and Muskingum County
Speedway at Zanesville, Ohio but he can also be found racing at Skyline
Speedway and Tyler County Speedway.
He started racing in 1994 in the Pure
Stock Class at Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, W.Va. because he has
always been interested in motorsports and decided to try. He stuck
with it and learned as much as he could and still loves it! He first
win was that same year. Career highlights include: Over 100
career wins, 96 of which were with the same car. He was the Track
Champion in 2000 at Cannonball Speedway and Skyline Speedway in 2002.
Pat took 2nd place after leading most of the race in Street Stock World
Championship in 2003 at Zanesville, Ohio. He's won multiple Features
at 7 Ohio tracks and 5 West Virginia tracks.
The thrill of racing for Pat is the
challenge and the excitement of racing wheel to wheel, lap after lap, from
green to checker. His most exciting racing moment was on a challenge
from the Track Promoter....Pat started at the tail for a double or nothing
purse. He took the lead and led to the finish. He's most proud
of winning 96 Features with his first Street Stock car. After
retiring the car, due to an accident, which left it totaled, he put a new
car together and went on to get his 100th Feature win in 2001.
Dale Earnhardt and Bill Childers (local
Late Model driver) are Pat's racing heroes.
Of racing, Pat says, "Everyone should try
it at least once. It's a thrill you won't ever forget!".
