Motor Speedway.
He started racing in 1975 in the Stock Car
class at Coshocton Speedway because it looked like fun and exciting!
His first win was in 1977 in the Stock Car Class at Coshocton Speedway.
Career highlights include: 1992 Late Model Track Champion at R&R
Speedway, Zanesville, Ohio, 2001 Modified Track Champion at Midway
Speedway, Crooksville, Ohio, 2002 AMRA Modified International Champion
with 12 Feature wins and 2 Midseason Race Championships at Cannonball
Speedway.
The thrill of racing for Norman is the
competition and the thrill of winning. His most exciting racing
moment was taking the green flag and watching his 17 year old daughter
following in his footsteps, racing her 4 Cyl. He's most proud of the
fan appreciation towards himself and the support that his fans give him.
Darrell Waltrip and A.J. Foyt are Norman's
racing heroes.
Of racing, Norman says, "Come out and
watch it. It's one of the most exciting things that a person can do.
It is something that really gets into your blood!".
