Jonathan Sims drives the #30 Pure Street Class car.  His home track is Atomic Speedway but he can also be found racing at Smoky Mountain Speedway.  He lives in Harden Valley, TN.  People who help Jonathan are:  Dad, Mom, Carlie, Robbie, TJ, Brandon, Josh and Amanda.

He started racing in 2002 in the Pure Street Class at Laural Mountain because his Dad had been racing for 12 years and Jonathan loved it.  His first win was in 2002 in the Bomber Class at Laural Mountain. 

The thrill of racing for Jonathan is the rush, the excitement and the competition.  His most exciting racing moment was in a race in 2004 where he ran side by side the entire race until the white flag.  He then took the lead and win!  He's most proud of the fact that he can out run a lot of guys that have run a lot longer than Jonathan has.

Jonathan's racing hero is his Dad, Walter Sims.

Of racing, Jonathan says, "Get-Er-Done!".
