Danny Taylor drives the #18 Mini Stock/Hornet Class car.  His home track is Clarksville Speedway but he can also be found racing at Nebo Raceway and Windy Hollow Speedway.  He lives in Oak Grove, KY.

Team members helping Danny are:  Cathy Taylor, Chewiey Taylor, James Pitcher, C J Townsend, Tina.  Cathy Taylor is the car owner.

Danny started racing in 2005 in the Mini Stock Class at Clarksville Speedway because he and his lovely wife wanted something to do with their weekends and now that he is racing he just loves to turn and go fast.  His first win was in '07 in the Mini Stock Class at Clarksville Speedway.  Career highlights include flipping his car 2 times in '07 and again in '09, finishing 7th in the Points and made Rookie of the Year in '05, finished 7th in the Points in '06 and 9th in the Points in '07.  His 4th year in racing was cut short due to a bad accident that broke 3 of his ribs and bruised his lungs.  His first Heat win was at Clarksville Speedway on 3/2/07 and his 2nd Heat win was in '08 at Nebo.  He's currently having his best year in Points.

The thrill of racing for Danny is just getting out there and going as fast as you can in the turns and not hitting the wall.  His most exciting racing experience was winning.  He's most proud of his racing season this year because he could win the Championship and finishing in the Top 5 each race this year unless there was a problem with the car.

Danny's racing hero is Rusty Wallace.

Of racing, Danny says, "Racing is the biggest thrill you will ever know.  It's the only place you can speed and not worry about getting in trouble with the law.  He and his wife enjoy racing so much words can't describe but I will tell you this...I am building two more cars, one for her to drive and the other for my nephew to drive.  We plan on making it a family affair.  So, if you want to have the biggest thrill of your life, then I strongly recommend it.  Go fast and turn left and if you are going to do something, do it right the first time!".

His favorite racing website is www.racingjunk.com
