Tom McClung drives the #MC5 Limited Late Model Class car.  His home track is Thunderhill Speedway.  He lives in Athens, AL.

Team members helping Tom are:  Son - Tyler, Wife - Selina, Dad's wife Cheryl, Dad - Johnny, Emmet Turner, Tim Harohn, Charles White, Mannon Glass, Wayne Burns.  Also all of his fellow racers for making him a better racer...a special thanks to Roy Alexander, he knows why!  And to Justin Fantozzi with Goodyear Racing Division.  Johnny McClung is the car owner.

Tom started racing in 1995 in the Stock Class at Thunderhill Speedway.  Career highlights include 2005 Super Late Model Champion at Thunderhill Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Tom is the speed, competition, horsepower, the smell of alcohol!  His most exciting racing moment was his first time on the track.  He's most proud of no flips yet!

Tom's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Tom says, "Have fun and realize that very few make the big time...if you do, congratulations, but if not, then just have fun!".
