Pete Wright drives the #51 Late Model Class car. He lives in Wartburg, TN. His home track is Wartburg Speedway but he can also be found racing at Crossville Raceway, Scenic Raceway and Atomic Raceway.

He began racing in 1998 in Mini Stock Class at Wartburg Speedway because he had grown up around racing and loving it. His first win was in 1998 in Mini Stock  Class at Spring City Speedway. Career highlights include 5 Mini Stock wins, 1 Modified Street win and 1 Late Model win.

The thrills of racing for him are  the competition and pursuit of winning. His most exciting racing moment was his first win at Wartburg in Mini-Stock Class. He is most proud of leading Points at Crossville in Late Model in his rookie Year before his engine blew and ended his Season.

Pete's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.
