Shane "The Dirt Squirt" Freeman drives the #5 E. M. S. A. Class car. His home track is 105 Speedway. He lives in Houston, TX.

Team members helping Shane are: David Porter, and Tommy Parker. John Freeman is the car owner.

Shane started racing in 1988 in the Go-Kart Class because he loved it. His first win was in that same year. Career highlights include 4th place in speedway Go-Karts, and multiple Track Championships.

The thrill of racing for Shane is watching his son compete. His most exciting moment was qualifying 4th out of 365 cars at the Speedway Nationals. He is most proud of his clean driving and not flipping. His ultimate goal is to get a full time Sprint or Modified.

Shane's racing hero is Steve Kinser.
