Shelton started racing in 2011 in the Sport Compact class at 281 Speedway because he wanted to go fast.  His first win was this year.  Career highlights include winning 3 out of 4 races in his Rookie Year so far.

The thrill of racing for Shelton is passing people.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win.  He's most proud that his first win was also the first race he'd ever been in. 

Shelton's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.
