Melvin drives the #56 I-Stock Class car.  His home track is 281 Speedway.  He lives in Gatesville, TX.

Melvin started racing in 2006 in the Hobby Stock Class at Heart O' Texas Speedway after going to the races and helping, he really liked it and had a lot of fun at the track.  His first win was in '07 in the Street Stock Class at 281 Speedway.  Career highlights include Most Improved Hobby Stock Driver in '09 and his first win in IMCA in '11.

The thrill of racing for Melvin is the good racing and good competition.  His  most exciting racing moment was his first IMCA win.  He's most proud of the good entertainment they put on every week.
