J C Howell drives the #103 Car. You never know what class he will be in because he drives them all . You see him most in a mod or sports mod.   His home track is 85 Speedway he used to race at Thunderbird Speedway.  He lives in Payne Springs, TX.

J C started racing in 2005 in the Cruiser Class at 85 Speedway after going to the races, he knew he wanted to do it.  His first win was in '06 in the Bomber Class at 85 Speedway.  Career highlights include Rookie year finished in 2nd place in the Bomber class in '07, 4 Feature wins in '07. 

The thrill of racing for J C is the challenge of other drivers wanting the place you are in.  His most exciting racing moment was in '07 when the first place leader spun out in the last curve and J C won his first Feature race.  He's most proud of how he has had many drivers say that they wish they had more drivers like J C that would race clean.

J C's racing hero is his Dad for letting J C try it.

Of racing, J C says, "It is a very challenging sport and there are times when you want to quit and all I say is keep trying, don't give up!".
